Loyola Rally Falls Just Short, Succumbs To Butler, 3-2
Colleen Francis had a match-high 20 kills to help Loyola erase a two-set deficit but Butler was able to win the key points late in the fifth set as the Ramblers suffered a 3-2 loss (25-17, 25-20, 20-25, 23-25, 15-11) to the Bulldogs tonight at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Loyola misses a chance to make a move in the Horizon League standings, dropping to 11-16 (4-10 Horizon) while Butler continues its push for a bye in the upcoming Horizon League Tournament, improving to 20-11 (9-4).
