CHICAGO - Loyola's women's basketball team will open Horizon League Championship play on Monday night (Mar. 10) at UIC. Tip time for the matchup between the ninth-seeded Ramblers and eighth-seeded Flames is set for 7 p.m. at the UIC Pavilion with the winner booking a date with top-seeded Green Bay in Wednesday night's quarterfinals.

Monday night's game will be the 52nd all-time meeting between the two Chicago schools but the first in the postseason. The teams split the two regular season games this season with UIC grabbing a 76-69 win at the Pavilion on Jan. 19 and Loyola exacting a measure of revenge with a 63-57 win at the Gentile Center on Feb. 16.

Both squads will try and shake off a loss in their regular season finale yesterday, with Cleveland State knocking off the Ramblers and Youngstown State dispatching the Flames.

The winner will travel north to take on Green Bay in Wednesday night's (Mar. 12) quarterfinals.
