Ian Anderson Named to MIVA All-Tournament Team

CHICAGO - Ian Anderson was named to the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association All-Tournament Team it was announced today. Anderson earned the accolades after a pair of stellar performances in the MIVA quarterfinal and semifinal rounds.

The senior opposite hitter totaled 39 kills, 10 digs and six total blocks over two matches averaging 4.88 kills, 5.25 points and 1.25 digs per game while hitting .390. Against IPFW, Anderson slammed 21 kills on 32 attempts (.562) with five total blocks and 23.5 points. His performance earned him MIVA Player of the Week honors. Versus top-seeded Ohio State, the Wauwatosa, Wis., native registered a match-high 18 kills and contributed eight digs.

Anderson finishes his career as a Rambler with 977 total kills (4.18 kills per game), 244 digs (1.04 digs per game) and 1,117.5 points (4.78 points per game).
