Sterling Moss, the Ramblers' resident sprints, jumps and relays coach, begins his fifth season with the Loyola cross country and track and field programs. Moss has led 13 different athletes to school records, including two last season in the indoor 500m set by Donte Prisby (1:05.10) and Pam Staton (1:18.56), while 11 different student-athletes have gone on to win Horizon League Championships. Moss brings an impressive resume to Rogers Park after completing a three-year stint as the assistant track coach at Lewis University, where he coach 14 All-Americans at the NCAA Division II level.

A native of the Bahamas, Moss has coached numerous athletes to compete at the collegiate and international levels, including the Olympic Games and was the head coach of the Bahamas National Track Team that competed at the 2000 IAAF World Junior Championships in Puerto Rico.

A 1987 graduate of Loras College in Iowa, Moss was a three-time Iowa Conference champion and qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships in the 60, 100 and 200-meter dashes. He holds the school record in the 100-meter with a time of 10:54 and was a member of the school-record holding 4x400-meter relay team that earned All-America honors.
