Head Coach/Program Advisor - Beccy Wrona Sullivan brenbec@gmail.com Loyola alum Beccy Sullivan earned a bachelor's degree in operations management and a MBA with an emphasis on information systems. At Loyola, she was a four-year letterwinner on the varsity coed cheer team and was the captain for two years. After graduation, she was asked to join the Loyola coaching staff and incorporate the Dance Team into the Spirit Program. Beccy worked for the industry leader in cheerleading training, Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA/Varsity Spirit Corporation), for 11 years, first as a head instructor and then in the national office as the assistant regional manager for the Midwest. She has also been an active organizer and judge at regional and national level competitions. Currently, Beccy administers the Spirit Program and spends time with her family and three children. This is her 18th year with the Loyola Spirit Program. Coed Cheer Coach - Josey Cavazos Josey Cavazos earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Loyola. During her undergraduate studies at Loyola, she was a four-year member of the Coed Cheer Team. Josey was integral in the athletic advancement of the Cheer Team's skills. Her cheerleading background also includes working for Universal Cheerleaders Association instructing cheerleaders on material, technique and safety at camps, clinics and coaches conventions. Josey not only prepares the team for game time, but also works at the basketball games and PR events to ensure that the Spirit Team performances run smoothly and are integrated seamlessly with the marketing events during the game and in the pre and post-games and halftime. In her 11th year with the Loyola Spirit Program, Josey is also a staff nurse at Loyola University Medical Center in the Pediatric Critical Care Unit. Dance Team Coach - Kaneidra Everson Loyola alum Kaneidra Everson earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in criminal justice and was a four-year member of the Varsity Dance Team, including three years as captain. After completing her undergraduate studies, she was asked to join the Loyola coaching staff to continue leading the Dance Team toward a great future. Kaneidra works for Universal Dance Association (UDA/Varsity Spirit Corporation) as a head instructor in the Midwest territory. She also spent time in their national office as a member of the 2005-06 program committee to enhance and develop the summer program that the company prides itself in. She has judged and staffed many dance competitions and team tryouts at the regional and national levels. In her seventh year with the Loyola Spirit Program, Kaneidra is also a Tactical Analyst at the National Insurance Crime Bureau. |
