Student-athletes visit the Howard Area Community Center

Out-of-season student-athletes continue to visit the Howard Area Community Center with their teams. The Howard Area Community Center is a multi-service, community-based agency serving low-income residents of the city's racially, ethnically and economically diverse Rogers Park neighborhood. The student-athletes have been working with the STARS program, which is for kids in the 6th-12th grades. Teams have been coming up with their own programming as well as jumping in to existing activities as a way to interact with the kids.
