6/29/09 ~ Men's Basketball Chapman Named Coordinator Of Men's Basketball Operations At Loyola Donald "Lou" Chapman has been named coordinator of men's basketball operations at Loyola University Chicago, head coach Jim Whitesell announced today. Chapman, who has extensive ties to the Milwaukee area and has coached or played at nearly every level of basketball, brings several years of experience to his new post and most recently served as an assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. 6/22/09 ~ Track Staton Selected 2009 Horizon League Women's Outdoor Track And Field Athlete of the Year Loyola track and field senior Pam Staton has been tabbed the 2009 Horizon League Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Year, it was announced today. She is the first Rambler ever to receive the award, which was introduced in 2003 and is voted on by League coaches. (more) |
